Do I need an appointment to try on dresses?
What if I need to cancel/reschedule my appointment?
We totally understand that plans can change! Please just give us at least 3 days notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Bridal appointments will not be refunded if cancelled with thess than 3 days notice.
Please note: There’s a 15-minute grace period after your appointment time. If we don’t hear from you by then, it’ll be marked as a no-show, and future bookings may be affected.
What should I bring to my appointment?
How many people can I bring to my appointment?
For bridesmaids appointments, it’s best to bring the whole group along if possible, so everyone can try on dresses together.
How much of a deposit do I need to order my dress?
A 50% deposit is required when you place your order, with the final balance not due until collection.
What are delivery times for bridal and bridesmaid dresses?
Bridal dresses take 4-5 months to be made to order, and we recommend allowing a further 2-3 months for alterations. If your wedding is sooner then don’t worry! Rush orders are usually possible, but there may be an extra charge.
Bridesmaids dresses typically take 8–12 weeks, depending on the designer. Need them quicker? In some cases, we can arrange rush delivery in as little as 4 weeks (extra charges may apply).
How customisable are wedding dresses?
Very! You can add sleeves, change the neckline, add beading, etc. — basically, you can make the dress your own! Your consultant will help you with customisation options during your appointment. We usually suggest no more than 3 changes though as too many customisations can really transform the overall look — at that point you may find it’s better to choose a different dress instead!
Customisations can be done by the designer if it’s something they offer, but most of the time the seamstress will do them during your fittings. That way, you can show the seamstress in person exactly what you would like done. Because of that, it’s best to order your dress a little earlier to allow extra time for fittings and alterations.
Do you offer in-house alterations?
We work closely with some amazing local seamstresses who have their own studios. Once you’ve ordered your dress, we’ll share their details with you so you can get in touch and book your fittings. Your first fitting usually takes place around 10–12 weeks before the big day.
Do you hire dresses?
We don’t offer dress hire but we do have a range of ex-sample sale dresses available at up to 60% off and available to take home the same day.
